CCS plays its part for a more transparent superyacht coating industry
Within the superyacht industry relatively little is known about the new generation of ceramic and polymer topcoat sealants that have entered the market space. Anticipating on this knowledge deficit, CCS recently tackled the subject with a select group of yacht managers, brokers and captains during a get together in the Principality.
In an informal setting the recent influx of topcoat treatment products (TTPs) was object of discussion. In a collaborative setting the attendees’ experiences with these products were shared and compared with CCS’s own expertise and research on the subject.
The event was hosted by CCS Managing Director Paul Bournas and took place on the 2nd of April 2015 in the Port Palace Hotel in Monaco. It was well received by the attendees.
This complimentary event proves that CCS is serious about sharing knowledge with the wider superyacht industry. Staying commited to increased transparency in the industry, CCS intends on organizing similar events in other major yachting hubs.
