At CCS we highly value the training and knowledge of our surveyors to stay up-to-date on the newest technologies in the industry. Therefore the team was trained at Centre of Excellence of Den Braven Sealants in Oosterhout, The Netherlands.
The importance of knowledge
In the yacht industry there is still a lot of knowledge to gain about sealants in combination with paint and maintenance. We learned about the following topics:
- Which product is the best to choose for which purpose?
- What is the best method to apply sealants properly?
- How to cope with the occurrence of fungi and discoloration on sealants?
- In which way do you clean sealants?
- The paint is cracking on the sealant or damage sealants: what can be the problem(s)?
Hence, this was a very interesting day of training for us and thus for you as our client!
